WHERE She Gathers
Host Mlisska Hubert

At SG, we love gathering! We love having a room full of women, some great nibbles, a good glass of red and then having a chat. We like talking about things that affect us, things that hold weight in our world. So, each gathering has a topic for you to know instantly if this resonates, if you need to be here for this one!

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who,        instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”

― Henri Nouwen

This Circle is all about Friendship.

You know how often we get told that women are the worst at this? That women excel at being mean? That women are the harshest judges, the most severe critics?

So, how about we chat about it? How about we talk about how judged we feel, and how much we have judged? And then, let's talk about a way through, a way forward. Let's talk about the women in our world's that have shown us real friendship. Let's talk about our best experiences, so we can learn from one another.

(Tickets R250p/p. We start at 7pm sharp. Your ticket buys you a glass of wine and some light snacks. You just need to bring your journal/notebook.)
